What is WiFi calling?
It is a feature that enables the customer to make, receive calls & text over a Wifi network instead of using GSM network enhance network quality.
Who is eligible for WiFi calling?
This feature is available to all base given the following conditions:
Device supports this feature

The SIM is 4G SIM or eSIM

WiFi calling is active & enabled on the device
How can I activate the service?
Service will be activated gradually for customers with supporting devices.

You will receive SMS upon service addition.

You can enable the service via My Orange application or dial #0123# or contact customer service to activate the service if your device supports it & have the latest software version & your SIM is 4G.
How can I activate WiFi calling on my phone?
You can enable the service from settings then go to cellular and enable WiFi calling
How do I set up Voice Over Wi-Fi Calling?
Ensure that your device is updated with the latest software version.

Connect to a Wi-Fi network

From settings:
Open Cellular/connections
Enable WiFi Calling

Ensure that the WiFi calling service is enabled on your device
Will WiFi calling impact my current voice line?
No impact on customer’s current voice lines’ charging behavior, customer will keep being charged according to his normal tariff charges.
If WiFi calling is active, what will it consume from?
Customer will consume from WiFi quota in case this feature is triggered.
Will WiFi calling work on any type of connection?
Feature can work on indoor WiFi networks (DSL & Triple play).
Can I use the service while roaming?
No, WiFi calling is only available inside Egypt
Can I use the service while activating the airplane mode ?
No, Service will not be active in case airplane mode is active
Where will WiFi calling be available?
WiFi calling is available indoors only.
Will WiFi calling be available for international calls?
Yes, the service will be available for international calls with added fees.
How can I cancel VoWIFI service?
You can disable the service via My Orange application or dial #0123# or contact our customer service. Also, you can disable the service from settings then go to cellular or connections then switch off WiFi calling
Is my device eligible for this service?
To know the eligible devices, press here.
- WiFi calling service quality can be affected by WiFi coverage signal
- In case of power or internet cut off you will not be able to make calls through WiFi calling
- WiFi calling will be affected upon leaving the WiFi coverage zone
- Emergency and SOS calls can be affected when using WiFi calling
- No impact on customer’s current voice lines’ charging behavior, customer will keep being charged according to his normal tariff charges.
