    • An eSIM is a permanently integrated digital SIM that lets you activate mobile plans without a physical card.
    What is the benefit of using the eSIM?
    • With an eSIM, you can accommodate multiple phone numbers and control them through your phone settings. You also experience enhanced levels of security and privacy, contribute to reducing environmental waste and have a more flexible and convenient user experience.
    Who is eligible for eSIM?
    • All new and existing customers are eligible for eSIM, including tourists.
    How much would eSIM cost me?
    • Changing physical SIM to eSIM will cost EGP 300
    • Changing eSIM to eSIM costs EGP 300
    • New eSIM line costs EGP 350
    • For eSIM swap via Orange Max it:
      • Via credit card
      • Via Orange cash wallet
      • Fees will be deducted from prepaid lines’ main balance
      • Or added to bill in case of Premier line

      • Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi (or mobile internet) and your phone software is updated.
    How can I activate the eSIM if I’m already a customer?
      1. Converting a physical SIM to an eSIM.
    • You can change your SIM to eSIM using Orange Max it application or by visiting Orange shop
    • Follow below steps below for eSIM swap via MyOrange application
      1. Go to eSIM section
      2. Application will confirm if your device supports eSIM or not
      3. You will be requested to scan your ID front & back for verification
      4. Then you will have to enter your maternal grandfather’s name
      5. After verification, payment should be proceeded
      6. You will get the QR code
      7. Ensure that you are connected to the WiFi while downloading the eSIM profile
      2. Transferring an eSIM from one phone to another.
    • Visit Orange shop for eSIM swap.
      3. Getting a replacement if the eSIM is deleted or the phone is reset or lost.
    • Visit Orange shop for new eSIM swap.
      Before you start, ensure:
    • You are connected to Wi-Fi.
    • Your phone software is updated.
    • Follow the activation steps according to your device system:
    • For iOS
      • Go to Settings, select Cellular, select Add Cellular Plan, Add eSIM and scan the QR code with your device's camera.
    • For Android devices
      • Go to Settings, select Connections, SIM Manager, select Add eSIM, and scan the QR code with your device's camera.
      • Wait for the embedded SIM to be activated on the device.
      • After completing these steps, you can use the device's services normally through the eSIM on your device.
    Can I use any handset with an eSIM?
    • The eSIM will only work with handsets that support it. You’ll need to check with your mobile handset brand website to see if it’s on the list of eSIM-capable handsets. Also MyOrange application will inform you if your device supports eSIM or not
    How many eSIM connections can I have on my phone?
    • This is a phone feature. Currently, phones should be able to support up to10 profiles (eSIMs). Check the user guide of your phone to have the exact number.
    • Customer can use maximum 2 simultaneously (multiple lines in one phone) based on device the device capability
    What should I do before selling or changing my device?
      Before selling or switching devices, you should:
    • Delete the eSIM profile from the current device (phones, tablets and watches). (You should refer to the device user manual for this.)
    • Ensure all personal content, like images, videos, and messages, is removed.
    • Reset the phone to its factory settings.
    What if I lose the QR code from my eSIM activation?
    • If that happens, you'd need to visit the nearest Orange Store for an eSIM swap. The QR code received upon subscription can only be used once.
    Can someone else use my lost QR code?
    • If you lost a QR code that was already added to your device, nobody else can use it on a different device.
    • If the QR code was lost before adding it to your device, you should request a new one at an Orange Store or call customer service to block the SIM if you can't make it to the store immediately. This can be misused. For example, the QR code before adding to your device is equivalent to losing your physical SIM card.
    Can I use an eSIM if I switched from VF or Et?
    • Absolutely! If you port your number from the competition, you can definitely get an eSIM.
    Will my Roaming work with an eSIM?
    • Yes. All services and plans, including National and International Roaming, should work seamlessly when using eSIM.
    What should I do if the Wi-Fi drops during the eSIM activation?
    • If the eSIM activation fails due to weak Wi-Fi, simply try again. Just make sure your connection is stable before proceeding again.
    What if I want to convert my eSIM to a physical SIM?
    • Visit any orange Store with a valid ID to convert your SIM
    Does resetting the phone to factory removes eSIM?
    • Yes, & in this case you will have to visit the shop to get a new QR code
    How can the customer switch between eSIMs?
    • By going to:- Settings> Cellular> Cellular Plans
    Can a foreigner get an eSIM from Orange?
    • Yes, foreigners with valid residence can get an eSIM through Orange shos
