Orange Egypt launches a series of Events, Competitions and Mass Promotions During the African Cup of Nations 2019

As the countdown to the most important football tournament in Africa begins, Orange Egypt has announced its contribution to the enhancement of the festive atmosphere that comes with the tournament through special events and campaigns, which will be held through special events held in fan areas in the hosting cities of the tournament—Cairo, Alexandria, Ismailia and Suez.
To strengthen the relationship between players and fans and encourage regulation and fair play spirit, photo booths will be established and supervised around the stadiums for each match as fans will participate in a daily competition of "fan of the match" by taking personal pictures. Voting for the winner will take place between the half-times and will be broadcasted through giant screens in the stadium, and the award is to be presented on the pitch at the end of the match. In addition to that and depending on its previous experiences in the African Cup of Nations, Orange has decided to organize other unique activities, which will allow 4 lucky fans to enter before each match to live experience the stadium pitch.
Throughout the tournament, Orange Egypt will announce new packages and discounted offers to its customers, to make it easy for them to follow and track tournament news and watch live broadcasts of the matches. The Organizing Committee of the African Cup of Nations has selected some Orange Egypt branches to provide First-class tickets for the audience and the fans.
As part of its keenness to highlight the importance of social responsibility in global events,
Orange Egypt decided to use the advantage of the African Cup of Nations to promote its environmental commitments, through "the Games of Change" program, an initiative with which the company seeks to highlight the problem of Plastic wastes; which is currently one of the most important international environmental concerns of the community.
Through this program, Orange Egypt aims to raise an awareness of the problem and its risks to the environment by motivating the fans to collect plastic wastes (such as plastic bottles) for recycling, at collection points designated specifically by the company for this contest. On the other hand, the fans will have the chance to win football jerseys made of recycled plastic.
In an initiative aimed at combining social and environmental responsibility, Orange Egypt has also decided to choose a remote area (abu-zaabal leprosy colony)where Orange will donate a football Pitch fully made of recycled plastic.
Orange believes that Egypt's nomination to organize the African Cup of Nations is a great opportunity to promote and revitalize the Egyptian tourism, and an important global message that confirms Egypt's ability to host a secure and successful tournaments.
