Orange Provides CPC Gas Stations with Electronic Wallet Payment Technology for the First Time in Egypt
For the first time in Egypt, Orange has announced a groundbreaking agreement with CPC to provide gas stations with electronic wallet payment technology to enable customers to conveniently settle their petroleum product purchases using e-wallets, with a special incentive of up to EGP 100 cash back exclusively for Orange Cash wallet customers.
Orange has provided CPC with the necessary technology to accept electronic payments from all Egyptian e-wallets in six fuel stations as a pilot phase. These stations are located in Salah Salem, Dokki, Fifth Settlement in Cairo and Giza, Ghazala in the North Coast, and Shatby and Sidi Beshr in Alexandria and it will gradually expand to include all CPC-affiliated stations.
On this occasion, Eng. Yasser Shaker, the CEO and Managing Director of Orange Egypt, expressed his pride to collaborate with a prestigious company like CPC, which owns more than 1,200 gas stations covering all parts of Egypt.

For his part, Eng. Nasser Shouman, CPC chairman expressed his appreciation for the signing the agreement with Orange Egypt, especially as it aligns with the company's commitment to implementing the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources' strategy to expand digital transformation activities and technological support to keep up with modern technological advancements. He added that through this partnership, the company aims to introduce new digital services at several stations in vital areas as a pilot phase, which will ultimately have a positive impact on the diversity and quality of services provided to its customers, as well as facilitating the use of digital services.
