Orange Egypt sponsors “Maker Faire Cairo” 2023 for the seventh year And showcases the success story of Orange Digital Center and its diverse services

Orange Egypt announced its sponsorship of “Maker Faire Cairo 2023”, the largest and most important event for makers, innovators, and creative community in Egypt. Orange is participating for the seventh year as the official telecommunications partner, which is organized by “San3a Tech”, the parent company of Fab Lab Egypt.

Orange Egypt participated with a special pavilion where it showcased the success story of the Orange Digital Center (ODC), which was inaugurated in December 2021 which has been providing various forms of support to entrepreneurs since then.

During the event, visitors learned about the center's strategic programs, including programming school, digital manufacturing, startup development, and investment fund for startup support. They also gained insights into the various services offered by Orange and explored financing options for startup businesses.

Maker Faire, which is held in various versions around the world, represents a great opportunity for those interested in robotics, technology, programming, virtual reality, handicrafts, arts, and various scientific experiments. With more than 7,000 visitors, Maker Faire appeals to individuals who are interested in acquiring a "do it yourself" culture. With a family-friendly atmosphere the event included educational and entertaining activities for both youth and children.

Maha Nagy, Chief Communications Officer at Orange Egypt, affirmed that the company's sponsorship for the event is part of a well-thought-out strategy aimed at supporting all innovative initiatives that contribute to the development of Egyptian society. "We believe in inspiring a spirit of creativity, scientific curiosity, and professional development in individuals of all ages.
