Orange Egypt Doubles Customers' Donations via 'Orange Cash' to Support Charitable Organizations
Orange Egypt proudly announced its contribution to double the donations made by customers through "Orange Cash" wallet
during the holy month of Ramadan, as part of an initiative launched to encourage the public to donate to various
charitable institutions.
The company allocated part of its donations to support and assist 9 non-profit charitable organizations, among Egypt's
largest and most trusted non-governmental organizations in the development and health sectors, aiming to provide the
necessary funding to improve services, expand activities, and reach more deserving beneficiaries.
The initiative includes support for the following charitable organizations: Baheya Foundation, Magdi Yacoub Heart
Foundation, Children's Cancer Hospital 57357, Al Nas hospital, Hayah Karima Foundation, El Orman Association, Egyptian
Food Bank, Ommar El-Ard Foundation and Misr El Kheir Foundation.
As part of Orange's Social Responsibility efforts, the company arranged visits to various organizations, engaging its
employees as volunteers in this initiative. During these visits, the employees distributed donation checks, offered
moral support, and had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the activities and services provided by these
institutions.
Maha Nagy, Chief Communications Officer, emphasized the success of Orange's initiative in inspiring customers to donate
via 'Orange Cash,' which has provided essential funding for vulnerable groups. Nagy also reaffirmed Orange's commitment
to matching these donations and expressed enthusiasm for celebrating this collective achievement with customers.
