Orange Egypt and EGYPTAIR Sign Strategic Partnership to Open New Horizons for Integrating Travel and Telecommunications Services and Delivering a Seamless Travel Experience
Orange Egypt, a leading provider of telecommunications services, announced the signing of a partnership agreement with EGYPTAIR Airlines, with the aim of delivering a more distinguished experience to customers of both companies through a range of exclusive services, benefits, and joint digital innovations..
Mr. Hesham Mahran, CEO of Orange Egypt, and Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman and Executive Managing Director of the EGYPTAIR Holding Company, witnessed the signing of a partnership agreement between Orange Egypt and EGYPTAIR Airlines. The partnership aims to provide innovative solutions and services that combine aviation and telecommunications, contributing to the development of customer experience and offering exclusive benefits to travelers and customers of both companies.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Orange Egypt by Eng. Mohamed Shebl, Chief Business Officer of Orange Egypt, and on behalf of EGYPTAIR Airlines by Mr. Amr Adawy, Chief Commercial Officer of EGYPTAIR Airlines.
The cooperation includes Orange Egypt providing telecommunications services to EGYPTAIR Airlines, as well as launching a set of exclusive benefits for Orange customers. These include the opportunity to benefit from the EGYPTAIR Plus frequent flyer program across EGYPTAIR’s network, which extends to more than 80 destinations worldwide, and to convert loyalty points into travel miles. This gives customers greater opportunities to benefit from travel services and rewards, in addition to special discounts and privileges for premium customer segments.
The agreement also includes cooperation in implementing joint marketing campaigns and developing digital integration between the systems of both companies. This will contribute to delivering a smoother and more innovative experience, in addition to supporting the development of digital platforms linked to loyalty programs and enhancing customer communication channels.
For his part, Mr. Hesham Mahran, CEO of Orange Egypt, affirmed that the cooperation with EGYPTAIR, as the national carrier of the Arab Republic of Egypt, represents a strategic step that reflects Orange’s direction toward building an integrated digital services ecosystem connecting telecommunications with vital service sectors, contributing to a more advanced and flexible customer experience.
He added that integrating telecommunications services with travel services and loyalty programs keeps pace with global transformations in customer experience and supports the Egyptian state’s efforts to expand digital solutionsand smart services, particularly in sectors related to tourism and travel. This, in turn, supports Egypt’s position as an advanced regional hub for services, technology, and tourism.
During the ceremony, Captain Ahmed Adel emphasized EGYPTAIR’s keenness to build strategic partnerships with leading entities across various sectors, supporting continuous development plans and enhancing the travel experience for its customers. He added that the partnership with Orange Egypt represents an important step toward providing more integrated and innovative services that keep pace with modern technological developments.
In this context, Captain Mohamed Alyan stated that this cooperation comes within the framework of EGYPTAIR’s strategy to upgrade the services provided to customers through the use of modern digital solutions. He noted that linking loyalty programs and offering travel and telecommunications benefits will help enhance added value for customers and deliver a more distinguished and flexible travel experience across EGYPTAIR’s international network.
