To Ensure Customers’ Safety and Facilitate their Daily Transactions, “Orange Cash” Provides its Services from Home with Simple Steps and Offers additional Gifts to Customers

  • Orange Egypt upgraded “Orange Cash” services to meet the customers’ needs during the current circumstances

To ensure customers safety, Orange Egypt announced its new updates for “Orange Cash” service allowing customers to subscribe, receive, transfer and pay money from home to avoid potential health and hygiene risks. Orange has also offered its customers to book their turns in the shops’ queuing and waiting-lines and monitor their turns in advance while being at home through “My Orange” application in case they had to visit one of Orange stores.

The new updates aim to facilitate the payment and money transfers for customers while being at home in order to ensure their safety and facilitate their daily transactions and satisfy their needs.

The new service helps in reducing the overcrowding of citizens in governmental entities to pay different bills and thus it is considered as an additional precautionary measurement to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in this critical time.

In addition, “Orange Cash” allows self - registration without the need to visit any Orange store just by dialing #115# or subscribing through a very simple steps on “Orange Cash” mobile application. And with a few clicks, customers can now create an “Orange Cash” account with a valid National ID and receive money transfers immediately to their e-wallets using their mobile numbers. Once a customer registers, he will be rewarded with gifts including units that can be used as minutes, SMSs or internet megabytes for free. In addition, customers will refund a part of the transfer value on their e-wallets once any financial transaction has been made through the “Orange Cash” service.

Furthermore, customers can cash in to their balances through more than 100,000 Fawry outlets all over Egypt. Money can also be deposited through more than 800 Orange branches in all governorates of Egypt, while clients can receive and transfer money using ATMs.

Orange Cash service also provides great benefits such as recharging their balance and for others, paying electricity, water, gas and mobile bills, donating, and many other services provided by the application or by just dialing # 115 #.

In light of the increasing demand for e-payments, Orange is always developing and updating Orange Cash service to ensure an easy and safe way for financial transactions during the current situation.

This came after the Central Bank of Egypt announced its support for electronic payment services and decided to raise the maximum limit and to eliminate the expenses for cash transfer & withdrawal services through ATMs.
