Orange Announces Yasser Shaker as CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa

Orange group has officially announced the appointment of Eng. Yasser Shaker, currently CEO of Orange Egypt, as Executive Vice President, CEO of Orange Africa and Middle East. From 1 July, in agreement with the Board of Directors of Orange MEA, Yasser Shaker will also join the telecoms operator’s executive committee.

During his tenure at Orange Egypt, Shaker led the company through a period of significant transformation reviving growth, restoring profitability, and reinforcing the brand’s position in the highly competitive Egyptian telecom market.

It is worth noting that Orange Middle East and Africa, which includes operations in 18 countries, is one of the Group’s most dynamic regions and a major growth engine.

This leadership transition marks a strategic move that reflects Orange’s confidence in Shaker’s 28 years of industry experience and his exceptional leadership journey.
