Orange Egypt & Qilaa International Group Partner to Power Egypt’s Smart Tourism Future

Orange Egypt has announced the signing of an exclusive strategic partnership agreement with Qatar’s Qilaa International Group to develop a fully integrated smart tourism ecosystem in Egypt. The collaboration aims to combine cutting-edge communication technologies with advanced digital innovation to elevate Egypt’s position as a leading global tourism destination and support the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030 in building a sustainable digital economy.

This partnership highlights Orange Egypt’s commitment to supporting key national sectors—most notably the tourism sector, which is witnessing unprecedented growth driven by major national projects, foremost among them the Grand Egyptian Museum.

A Smart App for a Fully Digital Tourism Experience

As part of this partnership, services will be delivered through Qilaa’s smart application, WTOUR, which provides tourists in Egypt with an end-to-end digital travel experience. The app enables trip planning, discovering local destinations, booking hotels and restaurants, in addition to exclusive offers and benefits made available through Orange.

For its part, Qatar’s Qilaa International Group will develop interactive digital content that showcases the richness and diversity of Egypt’s tourist destinations and highlights a smart, connected travel experience that brings together communication, planning, entertainment, and services within a single platform.
