ODC displays its most recent technology advancements, Orange Egypt Exhibits Newest Cybersecurity Technologies, Digital Twins, and Fifth-Generation Robotics at Cairo ICT 2023

Orange Egypt has announced its participation at the 27th Cairo ICT 2023 as the communications partner for this important technical event, which is taking place from November 19 to 22 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo.

Orange's participation in the event is part of the company's expansion strategy to provide digital solutions to Egyptian businesses and enable them to obtain cutting-edge global technologies in accordance with the Egyptian government's digital transformation and smart infrastructure development plans.

Orange's pavilion highlighted impressive offerings such as its most recent business services and technological solutions, as well as the most prominent initiatives produced by the Orange Digital Center (ODC).

Orange Egypt places a premium on data center and cybersecurity solutions for businesses, such as NOCs for managing networks, servers, and software, and SOCs, which ensure attack and hacking prevention by taking proactive measures to avoid electronic fraud attempts, allowing customers to store their data securely and reliably.

The company also demonstrated Digital Twin technology, which creates a digital virtual reproduction of reality, whether it is a factory, institution, or residential city. This technology assists in the virtual twin's simulation of reality, which is linked to real-world data sources via IoT and AI technologies.

Orange also demonstrated robotics technology, which is one of the fifth-generation applications characterized by rapid data transfer speed. This gadget performs many tasks assigned to a robot using the fifth-generation network. Orange also showed the robot's reaction time to commands as well as its reaction time to external elements that may occur around it while performing those jobs and directions. This technology is expected to make substantial breakthroughs in important areas including transportation, trade, health care, and distance education.

Moreover, Orange's pavilion showcased the major initiatives and projects it has undertaken to stimulate innovation and creativity, particularly among entrepreneurs, in the fields of social responsibility and youth aid. Orange's exhibition pavilion featured the most recent technology produced by Orange Digital Centre (ODC), featuring innovative student efforts like a 3D printer, as well as samples on display exhibiting the technology's ability to construct intricate shapes and forms.

The center also showcased a successful student project involving the invention of a device designed to assist visually impaired individuals in schools and universities. This device functions by receiving and transmitting educational materials tailored to their academic stages, serving as an alternative to the traditional Braille system.

The Center also has a one-of-a-kind AI and robotics project, a robotic arm capable of performing a range of tasks such as welding and other industrial activities.

"We are delighted to present this year a highly advanced portfolio of services, smart solutions, and effective electronic systems that endeavor to support the digital transformation efforts in Egypt," Hisham Mahran, Orange Egypt's Chief Business Officer, said on the occasion. “This is consistent with Orange's objective of growing business assistance, developing corporate enterprises, and facilitating their payment and data exchange operations. This will result in complete prosperity and favorable results in terms of operation, growth, and cost." Added Mahran.
