Orange Egypt is the official sponsor of the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations

Free tickets for orphans and Persons with disabilities and launching initiatives and competitions to raise awareness of combating using plastic materials

Orange Egypt, the fastest network in Egypt, has announced its official sponsorship of the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, which kicked off at the Cairo International and Al Salam Stadiums from November 8 to 22.

Orange Egypt’s official sponsorship of this tournament is part of the company's keenness to share the passion of its customers from the Egyptian football fans, especially as the tournament is of great importance as it qualifies the top three places to Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Orange official sponsorship affirms its willingness to support Egypt in all international events.

Orange Egypt also plays a key role in the championship organization by availing 30 ticket outlets in its stores in the Smart Village, Dokki, Mohandessin, Helwan, Mokattam, Maadi, Gesr El Suez, Manial, Shubra, Bab El Sharia, Nasr City, Zamalek, Haram, Mall of Arabia, City Stars Mall, Dandy Mall, Shams Club, Heliopolis Club, New Cairo, Almaza, Cairo Festival City, Carrefour Obour and Obour Buildings.

Orange’s initiatives also includes organizing free trips for people with special needs and orphans to attend the U-23 AFCON matches in coordination with NGOs and civil society organizations.

In addition, Orange will continue to foster its environmental commitment and raise awareness of the importance of reducing the use of plastic materials through its initiate “Games of Change”. The initiative aims to encourage the football fans to collect the plastic waste for recycling; where the recycled products will be used in the establishment of a football pitch that will be donated to the “Leprosy Colony” at Abu Zaabal, Qaliubiya.

On this occasion, Maha Nagy, Chief Communications Officer at Orange Egypt, commented “Our sponsorship of this tournament is a golden opportunity to communicate with our youth customers particularly and football fans in general. Also, this allows us to get closer to our customers and share with them the events they enjoy the most”.

“We are preparing numerous surprises for the fans, enabling the Egyptian fans to support our U-23 national team and all the best of luck to the Egyptian national team in winning AFCON,” Maha Nagy added.
