This was done by donating to the UNICEF EGP 10 for each line sold during the Mobile Fair which was held in the Cairo International Conference Center in Nasr City, Cairo. Furthermore, Mobinil facilitated donations for people who wished to make financial contributions to the UNICEF in any of Mobinil’s stores nationwide. Proceeds from sales in parallel Regional Mobile Fairs were also donated to the UNICEF. UNICEF is mandated by the United Nations General Assembly to advocate for the protection of children's rights, to help meet their basic needs and to expand their opportunities to reach their full potential. UNICEF is non-partisan and its cooperation is free of discrimination. In everything it does, the most disadvantaged children and the countries in greatest need have priority.
