Sherif Hanna joined ECMS (Orange Egypt) as Vice President for Human Resources and Administration on May 2011.
Prior to that Hanna was Corporate Chief Human Resources Officer for Ghabbour Group. He managed to draw an overall strategic direction for Human Resources, launched several key projects for the group, and revamped the HR team creating a positive spirit that spread throughout the organization.
Hanna has also held a number of positions in PepsiCo, namely Chipsy HR Director, Pepsi Cola HR Director, and North East Africa Business Unit HR Director responsible for 11, 000 employees. In this role, he successfully designed world class processes, developed talent and recruitment strategies, and built a strong HR Team that revamped PepsiCo's Employer Branding efforts.
Before starting his career at PepsiCo, Mr. Hanna was American Express Human Resources Development Manager, responsible for the Middle East & North Africa Region. He worked in several locations including Egypt, UK and Bahrain.
Over the years, Hanna won prestigious global awards for his work in HR including the Chairman's Award for Quality from American Express, and the Global Talent Sustainability Award from Pepsico International for launching world class HR projects. He holds a Business Administration Bachelor degree from the Faculty of Commerce and Foreign Trade, Helwan University, Egypt. He is also a Certified Trainer from American Express Europe Training and Development Center, and a Certified Change Management Facilitator from Pritchett & Co. Associates, Inc. UK.
