Rania Gharib joined Orange Egypt as our General Counselor, effective 1 July 2017. Prior joining Orange, Rania Gharib held various roles at Telecom Egypt, the most recent one was Vice President for Legal and Regulatory Affairs. Rania also has extensive corporate governance experience from her representation as a board member in several corporate boards within the telecommunications sector, including Vodafone. As a holder of Master’s Degree in Law and a registered lawyer in Cairo, she has an extensive experience that extends over 18 years in the field of telecommunication laws and regulations, competition laws, governmental relations, consumer protection, and dispute resolution.
