Mohamed Nabih was appointed as Vice President for Corporate Strategy and Business Development in April 2009. He joined Orange Egypt family in 1999 as Senior Manager for Commercial Strategy; afterwards he took on the responsibility of formulating the company’s overall strategy becoming Corporate Strategy and Business Development Director in 2005.

He is responsible for leading a specialized team of strategists and forecasters in creating a comprehensive company strategy for the short, medium and long terms. This includes setting our annual corporate priorities, developing our strategic plans and formulating our approaches to such key issues as accelerated growth, regional strategy, profitability management… etc.

Nabih has over 16 years of experience in business development and strategy in the telecommunications industry with unique exposure into the Egyptian and regional telecommunications environment. He has been closely involved in the acquisition and launch of several regional and international operations. In addition, he has extensive overseas experience in the telecom consultant industry with RIWACO International, Sweden, Connextion at Once, Sweden, Airtouch USA, and Vodafone.

Nabih studied Economics in Sweden. In 1993, he received his MSC in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden. He received his PhD in Economics in 1998 from the Catholic University of Tilburg, Netherlands.
