Being the Vice President of Link since July 2011, Mohamed El Sayed El Gawsaky manages and aligns, with other committee members, the strategies of both Mobinil and Link assuring a smooth transition post-merger. Leading a specialized team of strategists, his role is to accomplish business development, with hands-on local and international experience in the telecom sector, through analyzing, planning and implementing the company’s strategic objectives, processes and procedures, along with special emphasis to market opportunities and emerging trends.
He started his carrier in 2001 as a Software Developer and later by 2005, he was promoted as the Business Development Director at Link where he participated in formulating and implementing the company’s regional expansion plans in Algeria, and Pakistan. Besides, establishing strategic partnerships with prominent local and international organizations and presenting the company on the steering committee of the Ministry of Communications to determine the policies to be followed regarding the new Egyptian domain license
El Gawsaky was awarded distinguishing rewards, worth to mention The “Distinction Award”, Link, 2010 in recognition of leading the company to acquire the license to operate domain services for the first time in Egypt.
Mohamed El Sayed El Gawsaky graduated from Ain Shams University (ASU), Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. and later he got his Masters of Business Administration degree from The American University in Cairo (AUC)
