Cedric Vansteenkiste was appointed Chief of Transformation, Business Development, Customer Experience and Climate Officer at Orange Egypt in May 2026.

Cedric brings more than 28 years of international leadership experience across the telecommunications and ICT industries, with a strong track record in corporate strategy, business transformation, performance management, governance, and business development. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale transformation programs, designed corporate strategies, and supported organizations in accelerating sustainable growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Before joining Orange Egypt, Cedric served as Chief Strategy Officer at Red Bull MOBILE by FNT in Saudi Arabia, where he designed and executed the company's corporate strategy from inception, helping establish the MVNO as one of the fastest-growing operators in the Saudi market and leading its transition from launch to sustained operation.

Prior to that, he spent over twelve years with Omantel in Oman, holding several senior leadership positions including Acting General Manager Corporate Strategy, Performance & Quality and Strategy Advisor to the CEO. During this period, he played a key role in defining Omantel’s long-term corporate strategy, leading major transformation initiatives, strengthening corporate governance and performance management, and shaping the company’s ESG strategy.

Earlier in his career, Cedric held leadership positions with Belgacom Telindus in Germany, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, covering strategy, business development, sales, marketing, and innovation.

Cedric holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Leuven and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law and Management of Communication and Information Technologies from the University of Namur, Belgium.
