Maï de La Rochefordière was appointed as a Board member of Orange Egypt in July 2017.
She has more than 20 years of diversified experience of corporate and operational finance in the telecommunications sector.
Graduated in Finance-Treasury from the French Business School ESSCA, she complemented her education with various advanced executive programs including with Orange Leaders and INSEAD.
Maï joined the Orange Group in 1996 and held various responsibilities in controlling and business planning before joining the Financing and Treasury department where she was in charge of defining balance sheet and financing strategy of different subsidiaries and of structuring and executing high stakes financing transactions (debt and equity).
She was subsequently appointed to the Group's Investor Relations department before joining Orange Health division as a Finance Director.
With a recognized expertise in finance, Maï who is today the Head of Financial Advisory to Operations of Orange Group, also held or is holding positions in boards of directors of several companies involved in the telecom, content, consulting and IT sectors, in various countries associated with Orange Group in Europe, Asia and Middle East.
