A total of 55 startups were introduced to the local competition launched by Orange Egypt in March and until the end of May, after their innovative projects were presented to a jury of leading experts. Three teams were selected from 10 teams:
Plastale: focusing on building low initial capital mini-factories that are equipped with plastic recycling machines that enable shredding processing of plastic waste, won the first place with EGP25K.
Tajdeed: focusing on making automated solar panels cleaning robot that keeps the quality and efficiency of the solar panels as long as possible, won the second place with EGP15K.
DUCO: encouraging art and craftsmanship and empowering urban appeal through managing and facilitating the production of murals while developing job opportunities for the creative workforce, came in the third place with EGP10K
Eng. Yasser Shaker praised the efforts exerted by all the participating teams and explained that they are all winners of their perseverance and ability to innovate and encourage them to continue to excel to achieve their dreams.
