An emergency plan in Orange to deal with the bad weather
Orange Egypt reaffirms its keenness to provide the best service to its valued customers during the expected bad weather conditions for the upcoming hours where it had put an integrated emergency plan to deal with the situation across the country.
The company explains that it has set its emergency teams nationwide to deal with any network malfunction caused by the bad weather conditions in addition to securing the electricity sources that serve switches, towers, and vital stations that are equipped with backup generators while ensuring that the generators’ fuel tanks are filled.
Orange began taking the necessary precautions 3 days ago in conjunction with the announcement of weather disturbances forecasts, where the company Crisis and Disaster Management team is ensuring the implementation of employees and customers safety measures by guaranteeing that the towers and external network equipment are heavily maintained.
Orange has also set a plan to locate and track the employees in the service whether Customer service, technology or those in the shops to ensure the their safety to and from work by securing their means of transportation while providing the necessary supplies to live and stay at work for two days in case things get worse to ensure business continuity and their personal safety.
In addition, Orange stressed its provision of medical supplies and emergency vehicles in all areas where employees work and indeed all employees received an internal newsletter informing them what to do and what should not be done during this weather conditions while providing them with the hotline number for any emergency situations.
The Crisis and Disaster Management Team is currently following an on-going follow-up to monitor all employees, customer and business conditions.
In addition, the company would like to apologize to its customers for any possible weakness in its services, which is out of control, and promises everyone to quickly deal with any complaints to ensure the stability of its services until the end of these bad weather climates.
