Orange Egypt Supports Medical Staff and COVID-19 Patients
- Orange Supports networks, communications and data transfer services in quarantine hospitals and establishes full connectivity services in AHL Misr Foundation’s quarantine hospital
As part of Orange’s continuous eagerness to provide the best communications and data transfer services under its slogan “Orange Brings You Closer to What Matters Most to You at Your Home”, Orange Egypt has cooperated with the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) to check the locations of quarantine hospitals throughout Egypt to ensure the connectivity is being served at its utmost forms across the clock. Orange has also increased network capacity in these areas to ensure smooth and continuous communication between patients, medical care staff and their families.
Orange Egypt is racing against time to ensure providing superior services to the front-line soldiers of doctors, nursing staff and assisting services who risk their lives to relieve the pain and treat those infected with coronavirus as an appreciation for their extraordinary efforts.
In acknowledgment and appreciation to the medical staff efforts, Orange gave them the priority in their Orange shop visits by providing a dedicated waiting line service throughout Egypt shops to make sure that their service and transactions are handled promptly and quickly without the need to wait so they can return back to pursue their role in serving the society.
In addition, Orange has cooperated with Ahl Masr Foundation under the supervision of Ministry of Health and Population and Ministry of Social Solidarity to finalize the establishment of a complete communication services network that includes 4G services to provide free high-speed internet in a building affiliated to the Foundation as a quarantine hospital with a capacity of 600 individuals.
