Orange Egypt Further Boosts Its Board of Directors by Appointing Eng. Alaa Fahmy As an Independent Member

As part of its earnest endeavor to enhance its presence in the Egyptian market by incorporating outstanding Egyptian competencies and establishing governance principles, Orange Egypt announces the appointment of Eng. Alaa Fahmy as an independent member of its Board of Directors.

Eng. Alaa Fahmy is a strong addition to Orange Egypt’s board of directors, with his accumulated experience in the ICT and digital transformation fields. He is also a senior expert in management and has a comprehensive record of accomplishments in the ICT sector.

Fahmy has held many senior positions, most notably the Egyptian Minister of Transport in 2010, the Chairman and CEO of Egypt Post, as well as being the first CEO of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA).
